You are hilarious! This is a great quote and I had no idea that Steve Martin played the banjo! A music teacher could use this to show kids how many fascinating people have music as an important part of their lives!

Thanks, Vicki. I’d actually forgotten that Martin can really play banjo too. If you look in the related videos on YouTube, though, you’ll probably find one of him in the seventies playing that same song as part of his stand-up act.
That’s a good idea for music teachers. You could probably come up with a long list of famous “non-musicians” (i.e., those not known for music) who actually have a strong connection to music.
