By Jeff, on September 5th, 2006 Though it didn’t do too well in the box office, this movie worked for me – all the way until the last scene. The end was the one place where what was needed just happened to be there without any previous set up. And in the DVD extras, I found out why: they hadn’t written the final fight scene until just before it was shot, and they designed the set to fit the fight. That . . . → Read More: Review: Firewall
By Jeff, on September 4th, 2006 Agassi’s final 8 minutes on court
Andre Agassi played his last professional match on Sunday, September 3, 2006. Check out the link above if, like me, you were unable to see it live. Also, read this article.

They did attempt a small bit of character development, especially with Captain America and Bruce Banner/Hulk, but . . . → Read More: Review: Ultimate Avengers
By Jeff, on September 1st, 2006 Andre Agassi survived his battle with 8th seed Marcos Baghdatis tonight to move into the third round of play.
I only saw about half of the final set of this match, but what an interesting set. At over three hours long (when I joined), the whole match seemed to have been interesting, based on the scores. At 2-2 in the 5th, the players still seemed to be playing at the top of their form, . . . → Read More: Agassi: Still alive
