I first started reading about CSAs about two or three years ago. It came across my radar as I’ve been moving in a ‘greener’ direction. At least I’m trying to live more green.

When we purchased our share (back in March) I had concerns about the cost. However, we went ahead based on the idea that it would be worth it for the fresh local produce. Now with the way food prices are rising I think I may be able to make a frugal case for CSA participation. One of my goals with the blog is to price our weekly share as if it was purchased from a grocery store and determine if the CSA helps us to come out ahead (from a dollar standpoint) over the course of the season.

We should receive our first share next week. Tomorrow I’m going out to visit the farm and get a tour.

Yep, this is WordPress in all its glory. Well, some fraction thereof, I suppose.

Setting up WP is really easy. It’s basically downloading the zip, unzipping, uploading to your server, and setting a couple options.

You might also want to see if Bluehost has something like Installatron (a service HostPC uses) that auto-installs popular scripts for you. WordPress would undoubtedly be included. [oh, actually I just looked at that site you linked to... looks like the installer they use is "Fantastico De Luxe" - so it should be a no-brainer.]

There are a whole host of Plug-ins for WordPress that make life better, too.

That CSA sounds interesting. What’s that about? How’d you get started with it?
