Lee, that was a great effect. I also liked the aerial picture Jack had from when the team arrived, even though it was a static shot.

One thing that bothered me about that effect, though, was that both sides of the box were burnt through. Unless I missed something, the vortex only goes one direction from the gate. The back of the box should be intact. Dramatic license, though, I suppose.

Reset button stories don't bother me, per se, but the reset is commonly where you find the last surviving paradox - as happens in this story. Though with the picture they show in the end, it's possible they didn't technically reset - they could just be in a very similar parallel timeline - and thus there is also no paradox.</description>
