Best conversation I’ve ever had with my kids

For simplicity’s sake, I’m combining the statements of both daughters (currently 4 and 3).

Kids: I don’t like much boys.
Me: Why don’t you like boys?
Kids: I don’t know.
Me: Oh.
Kids: You’re a boy! We love you! We don’t like any other boys except we love you.

And that’s the way it better stay for at least 15 years.

  • That is a fantastic conversation. I hope both my girls (4yo and 5yo) are the same

5yo reminded me the other day that she might marry a girl when I was talking about her marrying a boy. I think I’d be happier with her marrying a girl.
