Interesting premise for this one: two people live in the same lake house, one in 2004, the other in 2006, and yet, with the help of a mailbox-cum-time portal, theyReview: The Lake House

The movie lived up to the hype. And that's saying quite a bit. Jamie Foxx did an unbelievably good Ray Charles. By the end there were literally a couple of scenesReview: Ray

Pure, unadulterated, low-altitude, jet fighter awesomeness

Over on Flixxy someone posted the top 10 Low-Pass Jet Fly-bys. If you could capture the awesomeness of this is a liquid form it would… um… taste really good… or something.

Anyway… watch this and be blown away.

The notes on the flixxy page identify the jets as follows:

#10: F-16 (Royal Netherlands Airforce)
#9: F-16
#8: F-16
#7: Harrier
#6: Blue Angels F-18 (Cleveland)
#5: Harrier
#4: Alpha Jet (Belgian Airforce)
#3: Harrier
#2: KC-135 Stratotanker (CGI?)
#1: Blue Angels F-18 (SF Fleet Week 2007)

#2 might be a fake. #3, though, freaks me out every time I see it. But for sheer beauty, you gotta go with the Blue Angels, as usual. Especially #6.

That link to #10 includes this video below, which has some awesomeness of its own. I especially love the irony of the Stop sign.

    Huh.

Must be a guy thing. I mean, I think it’s amazing that those pilots can do all that … but I got a little bored watching them do it over and over. Once would be fine.

So, makes me think … must be a guy thing. :)
