Interesting premise for this one: two people live in the same lake house, one in 2004, the other in 2006, and yet, with the help of a mailbox-cum-time portal, theyReview: The Lake House

Well... "reviews" might be pushing the definition of the word. It's more like a couple of self-proclaimed geeks talking about the movie, which, as it turns out, is kinda fun. IfOld movies, new reviews

I'm reading a lot more comics/graphic novels now than I ever have. Sadly, that's not saying much, since I only read individual unconnected issues at a time - I neverAn attache case, an underground government, and a Spider-Man on the edge

This is quite simply one of the best Star Wars trailers I've seen. The problem is that it's the cinematics associated with the game, and no in-game footage, so the actualIf only the Star Wars films were like this...

Time Travel Is Tricky

Way back in the distant past…

I had an idea for a short web comic. Unfortunately, I have ZERO skill at drawing. Luckily, I know someone who has that skill in spades, and I’d been wanting to find a way to collaborate with him on something. So I sent it to my friend Lee Sargent, who graciously accepted the challenge of interpreting my script. I present it to you now in all its glory:

In the process of translating from text to visual representation, a few things got changed due to space concerns and general realities of drawing vs writing, which I found really interesting. I really like how it turned out. If you’re interested in the “script-to-screen” differences, here’s the script.

Don’t forget to head over to Lee’s blog and let him know what a good job he did. Hopefully we can collaborate on something again in the future. (Easy for me to say… I can knock out my part in under an hour!)

So, I hope you liked it, and again, much thanks to Lee for making this odd idea a reality.
