Movie Theater vs. Home Theater (part 3)

To review: I’m talking about an article on ZDNet that tries to make the case for streaming first-run movies to a home theater. In the first part, I laid out the argument they made, and then took a look at the ‘why I hate theaters’ portion. The first ‘first’: I went to a movie alone.

Let’s back up so you can get the full sense of the day.

Today, my wife and kids went to a baby shower and left me home alone. I haven’t had any real time . . . → Read More: The #1 reason to walk out of Inception is…

What I’m going to do with my summer

Lots of movies are coming out this year that I would love to see in a theater, rather than waiting for DVD.

Here’s the list, in order of release, with release date. Boldface indicates movies I will not miss in the theaters – the others I will be disappointed if I have to miss for one reason or another:

Iron Man – May 2 Speed Racer – May 9 The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian . . . → Read More: What I’m going to do with my summer
