The coolest thing about The Illusionist is that every trick he does is something that can be performed practically. The movie does use a little CGI because of production constraintsReview: The Illusionist

2011 Movies – The Final Push

Back in May I posted a list of the movies I wanted to see this year. So far I’ve seen 7 out of the 10 I was shooting for, plus caught up on 2 that I had missed once they came out on DVD. Not too bad. I’m pretty sure I’ve reviewed them all on here after seeing them.

There are a few on that list that haven’t come out yet, and there are some . . . → Read More: 2011 Movies – The Final Push

And once again this . . . → Read More: 2011 Movies to Drool Over

If you thought he was gone, you weren’t paying attention.

He’s back! He’s opinionated! He’s Australian! He’s spent more time thinking about pop culture than is probably healthy!

And that last bit actually pays off in this, the second half of our conversation, as Lee Sargent and I concentrate on pop culture and movie/TV news and rumors, including a run down of why Wonder Woman’s shorts are annoying, which Pixar films shouldn’t get sequels (but . . . → Read More: TIDBABSH 2: Part 2: Return of The Australian
