By Jeff, on March 27th, 2011 … and then nothing but disappointment. That pretty much describes this podcast. Really there is some interesting stuff discussed somewhere in there, but to get to it, you have to listen to me talking. Sorry about that, but it is the way of things.
On the upside, you do get to hear my wife talking about this stuff as well, so you got that going for you. Which is nice.
Of course throughout the entire . . . → Read More: Grand opening…
By Jeff, on November 9th, 2010 The time is shortly upon us.
The wait is nearly over.
Let the glorious holiday IMAX season BEGIN!!!
Wait… let me get my oxygen…
Okay. I feel better now. Got a little giddy there for a second.
There are three movies left in 2010 that I really want to see in theaters. Back in March I reviewed the trailers for a bunch of 2010 films and picked a list of about 12 movies I was . . . → Read More: Holiday trailers – Tron: Legacy, Narnia 3, and HP:TDH
By Jeff, on July 23rd, 2010 Stop, right now. Don’t read anything else. Just click the play button below. Okay, I’ll forgive you if hit the Expand button first. Seriously. Do it. Now.
Did you watch it? You’re not allowed to read the rest of this post until you’ve watched it! I’ll let you go if you didn’t watch it full screen, but you’re not doing yourself any favors.

By Jeff, on June 29th, 2010 Look, let’s just get right to it. If the movie is nearly as good as this trailer makes it out to be, it’s going to be awesome…
I was let down a bit by the last entry in the series, but this one (well, these two, technically) looks like it’s gonna deliver. There’s gotta be an epic battle at the school… look at all the dead (I assume) bodies scattered around Voldemort and Harry . . . → Read More: Deathly Hallows trailer released
By Jeff, on April 1st, 2010 Everything old is new again.
In anticipation of Tron: Legacy, a fan created this new trailer for the original Tron (1982), with a more modern look and feel. He did a fantastic job. Really great.
He said:
Wanted to make a exciting trailer with a modern feel as oppose to its original marketing in the 80s. I hope people will give this movie a try before they see Tron Legacy. Sure its dated but . . . → Read More: New Tron Trailer
By Jeff, on March 10th, 2010 It looks like we’re headed into another year of big movies. I’m getting all fan-boy giddy just thinking about what’s coming.
On the heels of Avatar, though, it seems like every big movie is being filmed in 3-D. While I’m okay with that, it means two things: feeling a little weird wearing those glasses, and higher ticket prices. Just going to a 2-D movie is more than I want to pay for movies these days. . . . → Read More: Movies 2010 – must see or must miss?
By Jeff, on January 20th, 2010 I mentioned last week that I was a guest on a podcast over at Lee and Dan’s Midnight Movie Club. The show has now been released so head over and listen. You should be able to pick me out. I’m the one who doesn’t have an accent.
The topic of the day is Tron, the 1982 movie starring Bruce Boxleitner, David Warner, and Jeff Bridges. And of course, Lacy Underalls with huge glasses.
Some of . . . → Read More: Greetings, Program!
By Jeff, on December 13th, 2009 I’ve got one year to make up my mind. Maybe it won’t seem like as big of a deal then. But for right now? I must have it.
I haven’t been this excited about a video game in years. Yeah, there have been games I’ve really wanted, and those that the trailer got me excited for, but for each of them, if it wasn’t a PC-compatible game, I didn’t even consider them beyond thinking, “maybe . . . → Read More: Could this be the one?
By Jeff, on July 28th, 2009 I heard about a Tron sequel a long time ago, but haven’t heard much about it since and forgot that it was in the works. I’m not sure how I feel about it now.
I loved the original Tron. It was fun, colorful, ground-breaking, and exciting. It had a lot of in-jokes for the geeks about computers, but it was still accessible to the average joe in a world where personal computing still hadn’t exploded. . . . → Read More: Tron: Legacy trailer from Comic-Con – Tuesday TubeWatch
